AFFILIATIONS
Compass Church is a member of the Evangelical Free Church of America, The EFCA is united by a mutual commitment to serve our Lord Jesus Christ with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and obedience to the Word of God, and is an association of nearly 1,500 autonomous churches in a growing ministry that currently extends to some 75 countries of the world.
The EFCA mission statement says, "We exist to glorify God by multiplying healthy churches among all people." This drives the vision for the future of the EFCA as they envision accelerated growth in the number of Christ's disciples and churches and the percentage of ethnic groups represented in the EFCA. They are committed to an EFCA that mirrors the demographics of the U.S., and reflects the "all people" God is redeeming.
The EFCA West District is one of 18 districts within the EFCA. Compass Church is part of the EFCA West District which covers Western Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Southern California, and Southern Nevada. With a staff of seven specialists, the EFCA West District serves over 200 churches, oversee the credentialing of pastors and working to see new churches planted district-wide among many other important ministries. |
